  Gemco is a WHOLESALE to trades/contracting company. Very nice showroom with a wide variety of. Natural gas burning products including furnaces, thermostates, heat recovery ventilators, fireplaces, humidifiers & electric fireplaces etc.

  The service technician, Clinton, has just left our place after servicing a fireplace that we believed had not been touched since it was installed over 20 years ago. This young man was articulate and honest. He was especially able to explain how to work the fireplace and to restart the pilot light (this is all new to us as homeowners).
  Clint replaced a thermopile, repainted the inside of the firebox and gave us new ornamental pieces that will flicker with the log flames. He explained what couldn't be cleaned (considering the age and lack of previous service, there was only one spot on the glass that was a permanent blemish). And he was thoroughly neat! Clint arrived with ALL the tools he needed and a tarp. Amazing service!!
  We may not be having the fireplace serviced as often as recommended but when we do, we will definitely call Gemco Fireplaces back and hope that Clint will still be with this company. We WILL be referring others to Gemco and specifically, Clinton.

  Our Napoleon fireplace refused to stay on so I gave Gemco a call and Joel organized a technician to investigate. Guy was the technician and after performing a number of tests concluded that the air intake must be blocked because the intake grate was missing and we have large number of squirrels in our area. After removing the outside vent and looking into the pipe it was jam packed with pine cones. The only option was to remove part of the drywall above the fireplace and replace the vent and chimney piping. Guy did the job with professional precision and in a timely fashion. The work areas were thoroughly cleaned after the job was completed. He also has a great sense of humor. The fireplace now works as intended and my wife is happy that she can again sit downstairs during the winter with the fireplace giving her plenty of warmth. I highly recommend Gemco for any or your fireplace needs.

  I needed to replace a Napoleon fireplace blower, I spoke to Gary Gould of Gemco, he found the correct blower for my fireplace and also told me where to find the instruction manual. I was able to change the blower my self. Over the past 18 years I have purchased a fireplace, barbecue and 3 furnaces for my own properties and referred several other clients to Gemco and have not had anyone disappointed with the service or products.
